 Prof.Nisha Dhawan -A Work-shop on “Global Capital Market”

07.09.11- Prof.Nisha Dhawan conducted a day long work shop on “Global Capital Market” for the third year B.Sc. students. The Wall Street Movie I & II had been screened in advance to help the students have a grasp on the real life financial crisis.

The workshop had two interesting case studies.

Case Study 1: Microcosmic reality of a financial crisis. What happens inside a country?

Case Study 2: Macrocosmic reality of a financial crisis. What happens between countries?

This made the workshop quite interactive and informative. The students truly enjoyed being the different players in the capital market, namely, the buy side, the sell side, the central bank, the finance minister, the general public, regulators, etc.
